The Panasonic KX-TD170 expands a KX-TD816 or KX-TD1232 PBX digital phone system in order to add eight more extensions.

This expansion card can be installed in any of the three expansion card areas provided on the front of the KX-TD1232 PBX Digital Super Hybrid System or in any of the two expansion card areas provided on the front of the KX-TD816 PBX Digital Super Hybrid System.

In the box: One Expansion Card (including the little snap-on cover with screw as in the photo) ready for installation on the front of the control unit.

Product Condition:  The product has been tested and everything works perfectly.  Normal Use. It may have some scratches or surface discoloration from reasonable use.

Helpful Information: You will need some kind of 50-pin cable or 50-pin harmonica for this unit in order to be able to plug your phone extension cords into the unit. If you are using the harmonica you will also need a 50 Pin SCSI Socket Saver, Male / Female in order to make the harmonica fit into the KX-TD170.

If you have a KX-TD816 with a KX-TD198 modem card or a KX-TD1232 with a KX-TD187 T1 card or KX-TD290 ISDN PRI card, this KX-TD170 will not work for you as it is a suffix of "A" or "B" model. If you have any of those three expansion cards, you will need a KX-TD170 with a suffix of "C" or later in the 5th digit of the 11 digit serial number in order for it to function with your system.
